Transit district approved, funding community reinvestment

Allegheny County Council approved the Transit Revitalization Investment District that helps fund Esplanade’s public infrastructure. Administered by the Urban Redevelopment Authority, the TRID directs a share of new tax revenue to affordable housing, public space, and community investment in the district and neighboring Manchester over forty years.
